Dustin R. Johnson, Esquire, is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in government consultation, complex government contracts, and public administration. He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Phoenix School of Law, where he graduated in the top 20% of his class, and a Master of Public Administration from Cornell University. Additionally, he earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Ashford University, graduating cum laude.
Dustin’s professional journey encompasses various roles that have honed his legal expertise and leadership skills. As the sole practitioner of Dustin R. Johnson, P.C., he currently serves as an advisor and consultant to multiple municipalities and public agencies, offering legal guidance on law enforcement, fire departments, planning/zoning, and more. He has also worked as a contract attorney for R.J. Tobacco Co., focusing on mass tort litigation concerning wrongful death and “sampling” litigation.
Dustin’s current practice is focused on ordinance/legal reviews, resolutions, policies, procedures, and contracts to ensure compliance with laws at the state, federal, and local levels. He represents municipalities and counties in civil litigation, contract disputes, and negotiations.
Previously, Dustin served as Assistant City Attorney/City Prosecutor for the City of Alamogordo, prosecuting violations of city ordinances and defending the city against Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claims and Inspection of Public Records Act claims.
In addition to his legal practice, Dustin is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Missouri, where he serves as a JAG Officer with the Missouri National Guard.
