Renee Thibault is a Chicagoland resident and has lived there her whole life. Renee spent her career as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office and held various positions retiring in 2022 from the role of Deputy Chief of the Criminal Prosecutions Bureau. Renee has prosecuted numerous cases including but not limited to high profile cases, homicides, and other violent crimes. Renee holds a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School (Chicago, Illinois) and a B.A. from Governor’s State University. Renee has also been sworn in as a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar. Renee’s volunteer work includes PAWS Tinley Park and Board Membership of FORU, Ltd.
